Mandragora dolls with glow-in-the-dark eyes.
The mandragora or mandrake is a root dating back thousands of years, which was covered with mysterious and wonderful legends over the ages, because of her resemlance to the human figure.
The belief was, that the mandragora would hide when men approached it, and it was very dangerous to pull the plant from the earth, because it would let out a horrible shriek, that could deafen or even kill somebody.
It was also beliefed, that a whole Mandrake root placed in the home, would give the house protection and fertility, protect from demons and make money placed beside it to multiply.
